Amira is a junior, currently in her second year of journalism. Amira loves sports, especially volleyball. She hopes to bring a broader perspective on sports, not just focusing on popular sports, and showcase talented athletes around Lakota West. Amira hopes to go into politics when she is older, and is currently involved a lot within the school. She is a junior representative in the student government, a part of West Side Leaders, the Spanish club, and Lakota West Student Broadcasting. She is also a part of the volleyball and track teams at West.
