Meet The West Press

The West Press is a student-led website for events at and around Lakota West High School, written for students, staff, and parents.

Every year, journalism students begin publishing their work in the first few weeks of school, and continue up until the last week of the academic year. With 125+ articles released over 9 months, the West Journalism classes aim to tell stories unheard of before, giving insight into the “West side of life.”

We value our work being displayed for anyone to view, which is one of many reasons why everything we publish will be free to view at your own leisure. On top of that, we typically upload new articles on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month.
