Many people find themselves needing a small pick-me-up in the morning, whether it be on their way to work, school, or just to start their day off right. For some people, this may include getting a fun drink and/or breakfast food from their favorite morning place, whether it be Starbucks or Dunkin. However, when getting in your car in the morning and making your decision, what do you choose? As an avid fun drink drinker, I feel as if I have had enough fun drinks in my life to be qualified enough for this battle between Starbucks and Dunkin, and which is the better choice for your mornings.

My personal favorite is Dunkin’, but I will try my best to be unbiased. Each place will be ranked based on 3 categories: drinks, food, and prices.
Drinks
To provide a fair comparison, I will compare two similar drinks from both a tea/coffee and a fun-drink standpoint. First, I will compare the Strawberry Acai Refresher with Lemonade from Starbucks to the Strawberry Dragonfruit Refresher with Lemonade from Dunkin’. I am a huge fan of both, but at Starbucks, they always give way too much ice and not enough drink, even when you ask for light ice. It also always makes my stomach hurt when I drink it on an empty stomach. However, I really do like both, but due to the ice issue, I will have to give this one to Dunkin. According to a source (my mother), the chai tea latte from Starbucks is much better than Dunkin’s because it “just tastes better and its chai seasoning is on fleek,” according to my mom. Due to the conflicting opinion, this category will have to be a tie. Starbucks 1 – Dunkin 1
Food
Obviously, Starbucks does not have donuts, which says enough. All the breakfast sandwiches Starbucks has, Dunkin has too, so without as much debate as the Drink category, Dunkin wins. Starbucks 1 – Dunkin 2
Prices
A large (Trenta, which is the largest size) refresher from Starbucks, $5.95, while a large Dunkin refresher is $4.89. Obviously, this has to be given to Dunkin, as it is more than a full dollar less than Starbucks.
Overall, Dunkin wins, 3 to 1.
