What is Michael (2026)?
Michael is a musical biopic drama that focuses on the life of Michael Jackson. It goes through all the harsh treatment he went through with his dad, and it covers his early career with the Jackson 5 in the 1960s, where he was still popular as a little boy, to his memorable solo career in the 1980s, where he became a legend.
Personal Opinion?
Many people hate the movie because Janet Jackson didn’t exist in the movie, which I think is a huge blow, but the movie is still amazing. I loved how it showed how he started in the Jackson 5 and how he was famous when he was a little boy.
Even if you think that the movie left out crucial information about his life, you can’t deny how well the movie was able to capture his fame and his thinking process when making new songs. Jaafar Jackson did an amazing job embodying his uncle.
It got to a point in the movie when I thought that was literally Michael Jackson on the screen. I also love how they showed the relationship between him and his bodyguard, being the father he always wanted. I never realized how much he loved pets until this movie.
It also does a great job of showing that he had a skin condition, even though it wasn’t focused on. I personally thought this movie was amazing, especially in theatres; it felt like I was at one of his concerts. I would definitely recommend watching the new movie, Michael.
