Colonel James Braddock, Maj. Scott McCoy, J.J. McQuade, all roles played by action movie star and martial artist, Chuck Norris. Sadly, on March 19, 2026, at 86 years old, Norris passed away in Kauai, Hawaii. 

Before the news of his passing, Norris faced an undisclosed health scare and was rushed to a hospital in Hawaii. He was seemingly fine and in good spirits just days before; this medical emergency led to hospitalization. His family posted a lengthy, loving paragraph on Instagram confirming his demise on March 20, 2026. 

“It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday morning. While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace.” The statement further emphasizes, “To us, he was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, an incredible brother, and the heart of our family.” 

Continuing, they described how Norris “lived his life with faith, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to the people he loved. Through his work, discipline, and kindness, he inspired millions around the world and left a lasting impact on so many lives.” The statement concludes with gratitude for the love and support received from fans all around the world. Additionally, the family kindly asks for privacy as they continue to mourn. 

As Hollywood continues to grieve, many celebrities paid tributes to Norris, including Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone. Schwarzenegger reflected on his time with Norris, from acting to fitness, praising his character. He wrote on X, “Chuck was an icon. He was a badass, in real life and in Hollywood. His legend will be with us forever.” Meanwhile, Stallone reflected on his experience working with Norris, describing him as “all-American in every way.”
