It is scheduled to be a PlayStation 5 exclusive, with no other announcements for its release on Xbox or PC. The game is said to be in third-person, while the combat is centered on his claws. Playtesters have said the gameplay uses a “kidnapper” playstyle to isolate enemies. This likely involves using leaping and pouncing mechanics to drag enemies into danger. The gameplay is also said to have interactive environments that can aid in combat. Marvel’s Wolverine is being produced by Insomniac Games, the studio behind the excellent Marvel’s Spider-Man titles, so the expectations are sky-high. They have also explained that the game is going to be very different from Marvel’s Spiderman in the aspect that Wolverine is a “unreliable narrator.” This correlates to him in the comic books, as he is known to have a terrible memory.
