The restaurant Arby’s, founded in 1964, is one of the most gluttonous, carnivorous, dry, fast-food restaurants ever to exist in America. There is absolutely no one reason their food needs to be the way it is.
Arby’s is known for its slogan “We Have the Meats,” which is ironic because most people who still defend Arby’s food with their heart swear by the restaurant’s curly fries. Although tasty, the fries make up about 10% of the establishment, with the other 90% being strictly meat. Everyone has a preference, but how much is too much?
Was the Meat Mountain not enough: two chicken tenders, roast turkey, pit-smoked ham, corned beef, smoked brisket, Angus steak, roast beef, and pepper bacon, layered with cheddar and Swiss cheese, wedged between two slabs of bread. How greedy it is to have this and decide it needs to have a sequel! But they don’t care, they’re the king of meats after all! So what did Arby’s do? They made a Meat Mountain Jr, and a Mega Stack to go with it! Who is consuming any of this?
Mashed, a blogging site geared towards restaurant reviews, shares an article on foods that people should never try at Arby’s. A.C Grimes, the author, says to “Never Eat the Turkey”. They say it’s because it’s dry and bland, similar to what the internet says about their steak bites. YouTube sensations Shane and Spencer use their platform to spread conspiracies, like the steak nugget. The product was so bad that they went as far as to say the meat may be “3D printed”! Although debunked, it really makes one wonder how the restaurant is still in business. Who is still consuming this amount of meat!
