
These new and coming artists take the 2025 Grammys by storm.
Taylor Swift’s sensational “Eras Tour,” which went on for nearly 2 years, had 9 opening acts on the US leg alone. The Eras Tour was the most successful, influential tour of all time grossing 2 billion dollars. That is nearly double the amount earned by any other tour in history. Little did some of these openers know that just an opening act would skyrocket their careers.
Gracie Abrams was one of the openers for the US leg of the Eras Tour. Gracie Abrams career had a remarkable take off in 2024, especially after releasing her hit album “The Secret of Us.” But her opening act is really what drew all the eyes on to her. She went from having 7 million followers at the beginning of 2023, to now 49.8 million at the beginning of 2025. Gracie was also nominated for a Grammy this year for her song, “us.” with Taylor Swift.
Speaking of Grammy nominations, 6 time Grammy nominee Sabrina Carpenter was the opener for the Latin America leg of the Eras Tour in 2023. Sabrina even took home two of those Grammys. Sabrina has been making music for years, but nothing can compare to the success she has had in the last year after opening for Taylor. Sabrina’s song, “Espresso” which surpassed a billion streams in just 117 days, and was undoubtedly one of the biggest hits of the year. Sabrina is also selling out arenas now on her, “Short N Sweet” tour.
Other honorable mentions of the Eras Tour openers would be Beabadoobee, Benson Boone, Paramore, Phoebe Bridgers, etc. All of these artists gained an undeniable amount of publicity and fame after opening the Eras Tour. Not even a year after their opening acts did some of these artists hit a peak in their careers.
