We all know and love Starbucks classic holiday drink menu, but Dunkin has boosted their game over the past few years. Let’s see what some students around Lakota West have to say about their Holiday drinks.
I interviewed Lakota West senior Olivia Eldridge. I asked her questions about whether she prefers Dunkin or Starbucks, if she has tried both their holiday drinks, and if there’s a difference between Starbucks and Dunkin’s drinks.
Olivia said that she would, “prefer Starbucks because they always get my order right, they always taste the same, and have amazing energy and customer service.”
Olivia talks a lot about Starbucks’ amazing customer service and quality of drinks.
“Dunkin’s coffee doesn’t taste like coffee, Starbucks I feel like I’m drinking coffee, Dunkin I feel like I’m drinking sugar water”
She feels as if there’s no coffee in Dunkin’s drinks and is scared to “not get my money’s worth”.
Rachel Hankins, Lakota West Senior said simply that, “Starbucks just tastes better, I can’t explain it.”
I also asked Rachel if she had tried Dunkin and Starbucks holiday drinks. She said she has tried both but also prefers Starbucks.
Hankins favorite holiday drink is the Iced gingerbread oat milk chai tea latte. Although I only interviewed two students, it seems as if more customers prefer Starbucks coffee over Dunkin’s.
I personally have tried both Starbucks and Dunkin’s holiday drinks. Which do I prefer? Both! Their holiday drinks taste completely different.
Starbucks has that coffee taste but is a little sweet. Dunkin’s are sweet and taste like a dessert. When it comes to picking sides, it depends on what you like and how you like your coffee.
