On March 13, 2026, Reminders of Him will be hitting the theaters. Before the movie comes out, it’s important to preview the book and see what the movie is all about before you waste your money. 

Reminders of Him is an emotional drama that takes place in a small town near Denver, Colorado. Kenna Rowan, a mother, gets released from a 5-year prison term due to her boyfriend Scotty’s accidental death. She was charged with manslaughter. 

Overtaken by the guilt she has for Scotty and his family, she is desperate to reconnect with her daughter, Diem. Upon arrival, she accidentally ran into Ledger Ward, a bar owner, aka Scotty’s best friend. He acts as a father figure to Diem. 

Although not knowing who he was at first, or the connection he had with her daughter, when they both found out, they didn’t stop seeing each other. It seemed like fate. 

When the Landry’s found out Kenna was back in town, they were distraught. To them, Kenna had left their son to die, and that deed could not be forgiven. After working for a couple of weeks trying to get a stable job, Kenna decided it would be a good idea to visit Diem at her house. 

Ledger shut that plan down quickly, and a restraining order was placed. 

After opening up to Ledger and being honest about how hard not only the death was, but the past 5 years as well, the Landry’s agreed to let Kenna and her daughter finally meet. 

Scotty will never come back, but Diem needed to grow up with her mother.
