The Academic Quiz Team looks to compete —   not physically but mentally.  The Quiz Team is a club that lets its members’ confidence shine through by acquiring knowledge and showcasing it. The wide range of academic subjects the quiz team explores leaves no room for boredom. Ever seen Jeopardy? Thought the contestants were geniuses? You can find jeopardy geniuses right here in the Lakota West Academic Quiz Team.

Meetings focus on training to answer questions about history, literature, science, fine arts, current events, sports, and popular culture. The members use their training to compete in “Quiz Bowls.” The GMC conference has nine teams that can participate in these Quiz Bowls head-to-head. The matches are fast-paced and enlightened.
