FC Cincinnati to Sign Midfielder Pavel Bucha

According to Czech site infotbal, FCC are finalizing a deal to sign midfielder Pavel Bucha, which has also been reported and confirmed by multiple outlets over in the states, including The Athletic

Bucha, 25, has played for Viktoria Plzen in the Czech First League for the last five seasons. He was also loaned to fellow Czech First League side Mlada Boleslav while playing for Plezen.

In his time in the Czech Republic, the midfielder totaled 204 appearances, with 35 goals and 28 assists over that time

He’s also a former youth international for Czech Republic, playing for the U19, U20, and U21 national teams. He was called up to the senior team in October of 2021, but would not play in a 2-0 win over Belarus

FC Cincinnati have seen their midfielder stay the same this offseason, with Junior Moreno being the biggest departure. Bucha’s addition to this team will still be a strong reinforcement for the midfield unit, which includes reigning MLS MVP Luciano Acosta and Obinna Nwobodo.
