During the week of October 21st, Lakota West High School will be participating in a canned food drive. The drive will be a competition between sophomores, juniors and seniors–the class with the most food wins. The winning class will receive snow cones from Kona Ice.
Student Government is hoping to receive non-perishable food items. Anything you have that is canned, non-refrigerated or does not spoil will be appreciated.
The food that is collected will be donated to Reach Out Lakota, a local non-profit that helps lower-income families in our community. The goal is to donate as much food as possible.
