Lana Del Rey has released new music in recent weeks, although fans are speculating about when an official album will be released.
On April 11, 2025, Lana released a country-styled single, Henry, come on, and debuted a new cover photo that may or may not be a variant of a future album cover. She has also admitted to changing the release date and titles in her Instagram videos and addressed the pushing back of the release dates. The expected album was originally supposed to be titled Lasso, then changed to The Right Person Will Stay, and is now suspected to be called by the latest single, Bluebird, released on April 18, 2025.
The to-be-named album is said to be produced by the one and only Jack Antonoff, and similar producers like Drew Erickson and Luke Laird. Uniquely enough, the upcoming album is listed under genres like country, Americana, and southern goth. In an interview with PEOPLE magazine and Entertainment Weekly, Lana Del Rey explains her interest in shifting gears into country music. She shares, “I think my songs have taken on an American feel, and I’m waiting to see what the musical atmosphere is like.” We can expect this upcoming release to be different from some of her older music, and hopefully have yet another hit album for the 2025 summer.
