New Year, New Accomplishments
Gracie Abrams takes a good start off the 2025 season with multiple Grammy nominations, taking the spot of number one trending song in the UK, and as of the beginning of February, her best-selling album’s new world tour. According to Spotify’s charts, she has gained about 40 million monthly listeners since her last and only released studio album, Good Riddance, was released. She continues with these accomplishments by returning to perform on The Secret of Us Tour.
Leading up to The Secret of Us Tour
The Secret of Us Tour was first announced a couple of weeks before it dropped, on June 5th, 2024. A few days later tickets went up for pre-sale. Gracie later posted on her Instagram that all shows had sold out and how thankful she was for an already successful tour from fans who hadn’t even heard the album yet. Due to high demand, Gracie even gave the unlucky fans another chance to grab tickets by adding second shows to certain cities such as Los Angeles, New York City, and Denver. A few hit songs later the tour kicks off its first night in Portland, Oregon.
Staging, Setlists, and Openers.
At the start of 2024, during the opening of the world tour, Gracie performs on the main stage for the entirety of the show. However, returning from a break of touring, she enters 2025 with a new stage setup and surprising her fans. Something most fans are admiring about the tour is how the stage was designed. Gracie’s stage was built to resemble her childhood bedroom to represent her roots and the hard work and determination it took to get to where she is today. She also invites her Ashe, Dora Jar, and Role Model to open for her in the entirety of the tour. Gracie included her hit songs from all released albums and EPs in her performance. Since her coming back from the break of her tour, Gracie upgrades the set as well as making changes to the setlist by rearranging the order and adding tracks from the deluxe version of the latest album. Including a surprise song for each show, where every concert has a different acoustic track that comes unexpected to the audience.
What’s to Come Next
The Secret of Us tour concludes in August of 2025 in Mexico City and fans are speculating what future music is to be released and what Gracie will supply in more recent years. But for now, what we know is pretty well laid out for the next year or so and no new music is being teased just yet.
