It’s nearing that time of year again where you’ll begin to see endless advertisements and social media posts about different places people are choosing to vacation that month. The third spot on this list goes to New Orleans located in Louisiana. The weather there during this time of year is warm and sunny while avoiding the stuffy humidity that you’d experience there during the hotter months in the summer. March also represents the peak of what New Orleans can be known for and that is Mardi Gras. This festival is famous for vibrant parades and costumes and deep-rooted traditions. You can also enjoy their special cuisines such as biscuit beignets and their french quarter cheese spread. This festival is often quoted as unforgettable and is enough of a reason alone to travel to this beautiful city.

Second on the list is Belize, a smaller country located on the eastern coast of Central America. March is a prime time to visit due to the beautiful mid-80s temperatures. The hotel prices are going to be reasonably priced and the rainfall will be very minimal compared to other times of the year. This allows for clearer waters as well, giving better views of sites such as the Hol Chan Marine Reserve . It will also be the best time of the year to see unique creatures such as scarlet macaws, sea turtles, and whale sharks. The landscape, history, and culture of this country is not one you’d want to miss out on.

Finally, at number one is Barcelona located in Spain. A usually highly-populated tourist attraction, this time of year has smaller, more bearable crowds. This makes popular tourist attractions such as Casa Batllo easier to get to and get a clear view. The temperatures are also in the 60s, leaving no room for discomfort. The rates of airfares and accommodations are also going to be much more affordable. The architecture, one of a kind scenes, and exquisite food experiences are enough to take the trip there.
