Spotify is a popular streaming service  for people to listen to their favorite genres are artists. As of  December 2024, it was one of the biggest streaming music platform with over 675 million monthly active users.

A lot of rappers usually will drop their newly released song or albums on ‎Apple Music first, then Spotify, but there are a lot of good things about Spotify that some people may not know.

For all favorite artist you can see how many active users listen to that artist and you can see when and where your artist is having a concert, Spotify also gives you a whole lot of options to choose what genre you wanna listen to. 

But first let’s get into the recap of the 2024 year and talk about the biggest rappers on spotify. First was Drake with over 74 million monthly listeners putting him at number 1 on the charts for top rapper with his most popular song being “One Dance.”

Second on top of the charts was Travis Scott with 72.3 million monthly listeners and his number 1 hit song being “FE!N” featuring Playboi Carti which surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify. 

The third most streamed rapper was Kanye West “Ye” with 66.3 million monthly  listeners on Spotify with his most popular song being “Heartless” which was released in 2008 and did not reach number 1 but it did reach number 2.

Fourth most streamed rapper on Spotify was Eminem with 74.1 million monthly listeners with his number 1 song being “Without Me” which did not hit number 1 but did in other countries.

Finally the fifth top rapper streamed on Spotify was Kendrick Lamar with 83.7 million monthly listeners,  his number one song being “Not Like Us” released in may of 2024 which topped the Billboard Hot 100 for two nonconsecutive weeks.
