
The Broadway shows coming to the Aronoff in Cincinnati from September 2025 – May 2026 have finally been released! These shows won’t be coming for a few months, so if you want to see the current Broadway season in Cincinnati, check them out at Aronoff’s website! Please know that the links provided to the show websites are for their official Broadway theatres in New York, not for the new tours.
Playing from September 9th-21st, is Back To the Future, the Musical. This musical won the Olivier Award for Best New Musical in 2022.
From October 14- 26th, The Notebook, the musical, will be in Cincinnati. This show is based on the 1996 book by Nicholas Sparks, which also inspired the movie from 2004. This musical follows Allie and Noah, two people from different worlds, loving each other despite the challenges that are pulling them apart.
Hamilton is coming back to the Aronoff!! It will be in Cincinnati from December 16- January 4th. Hamilton is the famous musical created by Lin-Manuel Miranda in 2016, about Alexander Hamilton, one of the founding fathers.
Hell’s Kitchen comes to Cincinnati from January 13-25th at the Aronoff. This new musical is inspired by the early life of Grammy winner, Alicia Keys. Set in the 90’s, Hell’s Kitchen is about “Finding yourself, your purpose, and the community that lifts you.”
Shucked: Takes place from February 10-22nd. This unique musical is all about Corn, set in a small American town.
The Wiz: The Wiz comes through Cincinnati on March 3rd-15th. This show is a retelling of The Wizard of Oz, from a contemporary African American culture perspective.
Chicago: From March 24th-29th, Chicago, the Broadway Musical comes to Cincinnati. This broadway has been playing since 1996, and is one of the longest-running broadways in history. It’s set in the City Chicago in the roaring 20s’, about two rival murderers who are locked up in Cook County jail. It’s recommended for kids 13+.
Water for Elephants: April 21-May 3rd. This musical is based off of the Book, Water for Elephants, by William F. Brown. In the show, the main character, Jacob Jankowski, looks back on his youth, where he joined the circus after his parents were killed in an accident.
Suffs: This broadway comes May 12-17th. It is based on the book by Shaina Taub, about the American women’s suffrage movement and the events leading up to the ratification of the 19th amendment.
