After closing up the short but sweet Lucky tour, which only stretched from 22 shows, and opening shows for Kenny Chesney’s ‘Sun Goes Down’ tour in 2024, Megan Moroney finally gets to tour with her sophomore album, Am I Okay? In March of this year, she’ll be touring for 51 shows and visiting 38 venues, confessing on a recent Instagram post that she’ll, “get to play some of my bucket list venues,”. Fans suspect from the multiple times she’s added more dates before the tour even started, that they have much to look forward to.
Considering Moroney’s discography only has a small span of 50 tracks; made up of two studio albums, two EPs, and the rest being singles, it’s impressive enough to have a total of 1,129,573,999 (as of today) streams according to Kworb’s Listening Charts. Not to mention her recent nominations for Best Country Female Vocalist of 2024 even before she had released a second album. She even won New Female Artist of the Year, in 2023, at the CMA and New Artist of the Year in 2024.
The opening night kicks off in a couple of weeks and Moroney is slowly teasing fans of what is to come next starting with the show’s openers. Megan posted on her Instagram story weeks before the first day of the show to read off who’s opening her tour on what dates. The long list ranges from 14 new and upcoming artists that create content simular to Megan’s music. Some of the artists include Makenzie Carpenter, Charlie Worsham, Emmy Russell, Patrick Droney, and many others.
Those attending the concert are still curious as to what the setlist is or how she will perform her fan favorites but we’ll have to wait until March 8th to know what to expect next from the ‘Am I Okay?’ Tour!
