For the first time in five years, Mac Miller’s fans could not be more contended with the fact that they are being provided more of his pre-recorded content. After Miller’s passing, his devoted fans mourned for their loss, knowing they wouldn’t hear much more of his projects. However, in 2020, two years after he passed, his family and teams posted on his social media platforms addressing that they would be releasing his hard worked for album that he was never able to release called, Circles. Naturally, this was a huge success like most of his music and his supporters were satisfied with this. Not everyone was holding out hope for yet another amazing album drop.
In 2014, Miller had been working on multiple projects at the time including, Faces and GO:OD AM. In between labels, he wrote his latest edition, Balloonerism, which was never released to the public and remained unheard of, until a version of the album was leaked in 2021. Fans remained curious but were not given answers until November 17, 2024, when during a Tyler, The Creator concert, there was a trailer for his new long-awaited and upcoming album, Balloonerism. Even with this, his estate promised even more projects such as a short film that goes along with his new album. According to, Variety, “The film screened in advance on Wednesday in the United States and Thursday internationally.”
Months later, the posthumous album was released and is available almost anywhere. Although Miller was known for having tons of unreleased music, his supporters suspect this could be the last of his content due to his untimely passing. Nevertheless, having released seven studio albums, two EPs, two live albums, and 46 singles, Miller has created so much content in his music career that his fans will remain well-supplied of his hard work.
