The title of the song of the month for September is “Taste” by Sabrina Carpenter. “Taste” is the third single off Carpenter’s new album Short n’ Sweet. The song quickly rose up the charts, debuting at No.2 on the Billboard Hot 100, and has remained in the top 10 since its release, currently holding the No.9 spot on the chart. “Taste” has also amassed over 250 million streams on Spotify alone.

Album of the Month:

The title of album of the month for September goes to Short n’ Sweet by Sabrina Carpenter. The album is Carpenter’s sixth studio album, and was released on August 23rd, 2024. It’s release was highly anticipated, especially after the massive success of its first two singles, “Espresso” and “Please Please Please.” Some other notable songs from the album include “Taste,” “Bed Chem,” “Juno,” and “Good Graces.” Short n’ Sweet incorporates Carpenter’s signature pop sound, along with many flirtatious and tongue-in-cheek lyrics.

The title of artist of the month for September goes to Chappell Roan. Roan has risen in the pop charts throughout the summer and has continued gaining popularity throughout the month of September. Her unique pop sound, mixed with raw, emotional lyrics and extravagant styles, have made her a star in the pop music scene. Her album, The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess, and her latest single “Good Luck, Babe!” have seen tremendous success, and has likely cemented her influence in pop music for years to come.
