Over this past weekend, I spent time scrolling through my Netflix account and decided to watch the movie “The Unforgivable”. This movie had many great actors and actresses in it, including Sandra Bullock, who’s been featured in “Birdbox”, “The Proposal” and “The Blind Side”. other co-stars featured were Viola Davis featured in “The Help”, “Suicide Squad”, and the newest Hunger Games. One could presume the movie would be excellent through these two main actresses, and it was.
The movie follows Ruth Slater, a girl who, after having been locked up for 20 years due to killing a cop, begins her journey outside the life of the jail cell. The movie follows Ruth trying to get back into contact with her little sister, Katie, played by Aisling Franciosi. That she had once taken care of due to the incapabilities of her parents until she was locked away. Her sister was sent into foster care and was adopted by the Malcom family. The movie follows both of the girls through the stress of the trauma that they both underwent with the murder of the cop, and ends with a shocking and spectacular plot twist. Aleks Fasig even said that “the movie probably had one of the best plot twists” she had seen in a while.
I recommend this movie for a nice family night if they enjoy intense scenes and an intense plot. The movie did pretty decent for a Netflix movie, having over 107k likes on YouTube.
