With FCC head coach Pat Noona out due to suspension, FCC got its 4th straight loss for the first time in the Noonan era, losing 2-0 to Inter Miami.
FC Cincinnati was behind from the jump, as just 35 seconds in, Inter Miami wingback Marcelo Weigandt sent a cross into the box, where Inter Miami star striker Luis Suarez got onto the end of the ball and scored his 13th league goal this season.
Suarez scored his 14-league goal of the season just 6 minutes later. A giveaway from FCC midfielder Obinna Nwobodo under-hit a pass to FCC defender Miles Robinson. Inter Miami winger Matias Rojas was able to pick up the ball and pass it to Luis Suarez, who slotted it in for his brace.
After the rough start, FCC started to pick it up offensively, and by the end of the first half they would get more shots and corners than Inter Miami did. But they could not get a response goal even with the same amount of shots on target.
In the 2nd half, FCC continued to dominate on attack, getting 10 more shots than Inter Miami and 4 more shots on target by the end of the game. But even with all that, they were still unable to get by Inter Miami star goalkeeper Drake Callendar.
