Sleeping with wet hair is horrible for your bed sheets, skin, and hair.
Hair: Hair is prone to breakage when it is wet. It’s more prone to breakage while rolling around in your sleep as it is wet. Your hair could also be moldy, especially if you have thick hair. It may not dry properly. If your hair is soaking wet it is more likely to damage. Therefore do not sleep with your wet hair
Face: Wet hair on your face can make you break. Considering the dirty water from your hair gets in your pores which causes oil production. More oil production means more acne. I asked a sophomore at Lakota West High if she sleeps with her wet hair and what she thinks and this is what she has to say
“I do not sleep with wet hair because when I did my hair would be nappy and my face would always look gross.”
Sheets: Wet hair can cause mildew or mold to develop on your sheets. Dirt can also start to gather on your sheets, so it is best to not sleep with wet hair and prevent this from happening.
Do not sleep with wet hair. It can and will ruin your face, hair, and sheets. It is better to blow dry your hair before sleeping. It will keep your hair, face, and sheets cleaner.
