Valentine’s Day used to be a religious celebration. Now it is a commercial holiday where people celebrate their love. Although there are a lot of different perspectives on Valentine’s Day, it is whatever you want it to be. You can skip the romance part and do nice things for yourself and others. I interviewed an anonymous person who is a sophomore at Lakota West and here is what she is going to do for Valentine’s Day.
“Regret my decisions in life and cry myself to sleep because I have no boyfriend.”
As sad as that sounds (and they were kidding, of course), Valentine’s Day can be a tough time for people. Here are some fun things you can do to get into the holiday spirit!
