Many Stranger Things enthusiasts won’t be watching season 5 amid controversy involving lead Noah Schnapp caught handing out stickers that read “Zionism is Sexy.”
With Noah Schnapp handing out these stickers, many die-hard fans of the show now feel disconnected from the show, citing the actor’s disregard for the ongoing conflict as making light of a very serious situation.
The situation: a 75+ year ongoing genocide in Gaza with bone-chilling statistics of tens of thousands of civilian casualties. Photos and videos of war-torn civilians have outnumbered those produced by the zionist propaganda machine. Celebrity stances on the conflict have driven many Americans to ask themselves: “What is Zionism? Is not supporting Zionism anti-semitic? Why are my favorite celebrities supporting a country that mercilessly kills mothers, babies, and young children?”
Zionism is a theology that came to fruition after World War 1, fathered by Theodor Herzl, saying that a singular state needs to be established as a homeland for the Jews. The idea didn’t gain much traction until after WW1, when England needed money and connections. The Wrothchild family negotiated with the British saying that they would help them as long as the Palestinian land would be given to the Jewish people. In the Balfour Declaration of 1917, a promise was made amongst European Zionists that said all Jews were free to go and seek refuge in that land. In the 1920s there were even fundraisers held to help fund settlers that were trying to buy land in Palestine. The problem with giving the Palestinian land to the Jews is that the land was already inhabited by a mix of native Christian, Jewish, and Muslim Palestinians. So, when the American dollar and British pound were being poured into the pockets of Zionist Jews, the currency already being used in Palestine couldn’t compete and the native populations were forced out.
Ironically, many Evangelical Christians (who support Zionism) believe that Jesus won’t come back until the rapture takes place, and Jesus can come back quicker if all the Jewish people come together in Israel. They believe that one of the first things that Jesus will do is annihilate the Jews. So the Christian support of Jews in the Palestinian land is founded on the belief that the gathering of Jews in the land will signal Jesus to return and kill all the Jews so that they (Christians) can go to heaven. Even more ironically, many Israelis don’t believe in God but they still believe that God promised them the Palestinian land.
Zionism is geographic plagiarism, harmful for the American people whose interests are being ignored in favor of that of the Zionist lobbyists, and far, far from “sexy.”
To make matters worse, fans are outraged by a half-hearted apology released by Noah Scnapp following his criticism.
In a TikTok video commentary on the situation @sincerelyawa said, “In the video, he wasn’t even looking directly at the camera, he kept on twitching… Now that you are being canceled and your pockets are hurting and every other person who’s involved with Stranger Things’ pockets are hurting, you’re doing PR control.”
Another Stranger Things cast member, Brett Gelman, has also expressed strong sentiments in support of the Israeli Policy, even venturing out to DC to participate in a rally for Israel. TMZ approached him asking what he thought about Noah Schnapp’s situation, and he said, “…I saw nothing wrong with the original thing he said… Zionism is the belief that Israel should exist and that’s sexy to me too…”
It’s time for mankind to reevaluate who we consume our entertainment from, and decide if we really want someone who’s values don’t align with ours to become rich from our views.

This article is the classic anti-Semitic troupe “Zionism is racism”
What happened to the Palestinian state between 1948-1967? It was the
“West Bank” of Jordan. Why didn’t the Palestinians rise up against the Jordanian government and establish a state at that time? When the Palestinian people did rise up against the Jordanian regime in 1970, they were massacred and expelled. It was called Black September.
Today Palestinian “refugees” represent the largest demographic in Jordan. Are they clamoring to establish a state in Jordan??
Read your history. Israel isn’t going to disappear.
