Yes, that’s correct! Elf is the movie about an orphan, named Buddy,  who gets caught in Santa’s bag on Christmas Eve night! Buddy ends up growing up in the North Pole! Making friends with all the Christmas animals, the Christmas elves, and snowmen.

 Buddy believes himself to be a Christmas elf and while growing up, he does not quite fit in. 

When Buddy gets old enough, he realizes he is not an actual Christmas elf. Santa then sends Buddy to New York to find his actual family. Buddy travels to New York and learns how to live in the city. The new movie will be about how Buddy the Elf survives and lives in the city with his elf characteristics.

We are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Warner Bros. movie Elf, therefore, most movie theaters will be playing Elf all day on November 17th in honor of Buddy.
